“There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate The Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be.” It might not be an exaggeration to say that most Catholics are walking around with only a grade school education about their faith, if that. We wouldn't find this level of education acceptable in other areas of our lives, why this one? If you or someone you love has a difficulty with one area of our Catholic Faith or another, it could be that no one has ever explained it well, or if they did, you simply weren’t receptive. Most of us have also had the confusing experience of one priest telling us one thing, and another priest telling us something completely different. How do I know exactly what teaching comes from Christ and which is only somebody else’s opinion? How do I know when I’m not following God’s teaching, will and law in my life, but my own? Adult faith formation classes will help you properly discern all that. It will also help you become more confident and effective when sharing the faith you love with others. On occasion, Fr.
