Hello St. Laurence Parishioners,

Bishop Malloy has updated Covid guidelines for the parishes. Here are the latest changes:

  1. Registration is no longer needed to attend mass and parishes are not to exceed 60% of their maximum attendance. For St. Laurence, this means a cap of 250 persons, a number which of late has rarely been reached.
  2. Eucharistic Ministers may bring Holy Communion to hospitals, the homebound, or those in care facilities.
  3. Choirs are now permitted, as are brass and wind instruments.
  4. The offeratory procession of gifts may resume.
  5. Liturgical aids in the pews are permitted and bulletins may be distributed.

All of these will be reinstated effective immediately here at St. Laurence.

See you on Sunday.

Fr. Andrew

  1. Am wondering if there is Mass at the cemetery on Monday. I have FINALLY been able to return to this area. I have been at my condo for 19 months.

    1. Catholic Cemeteries elected not to hold a Memorial Day Mass at Mt. Hope cemetery this year.
