We have reached the End of an Era
We want to THANK you for your support of St. Laurence School, Elgin, IL!
Having produced over 90 years of graduates to the Parish Family and the Elgin community, we wish to recognize our final graduating class.
To our parents – thank you for entrusting us with the education of your children.
To our teachers – thank you for guiding and enriching the minds of those students.
To our principals – thank you for the leadership you provided to make sure our school thrived.
To our students – thank you for bringing us joy and being open to learning.
To our alumni – thank you for continued support of your alma mater; and most of all, for bringing the message of Christ into our society and your family.
One of the things about St. Laurence school was the rich history and tradition. Our school was in operation from 1929 until 2020. Many alumni sent their own children to St. Laurence. It was one of the features we used in our marketing. We are so sad that our school is closing but are very joyful in all of the lives we were able to enrich and impact over the 90 years we served the Parish and Elgin community.
